Finnveden Metal Structures brings home new order for magnesium components

PRESS RELEASE
Finnveden Metal Structures has signed an agreement over a 6-year period with a major supplier within the automotive sector for seat frame in magnesium with a delivery value in total of MSEK 35.

The components will be manufactured in the Group’s die casting facility in Hultsfred, starting at the end of 2011. The contract is in line with the strategic focus and strengthens the company’s position as a supplier of die cast light metal products to European industry.

“This is a customer that we already supply with sheet metal components and we are now extending our cooperation. The customer chose us both for our proven performance in our existing business when it comes to deliverables such as quality, delivery precision and cost efficiency as well as for our experience of this type of components.
