Redemption of synthetic call options

2004-08-16
Within a month after the release of Finnveden?s six-month interim report, the synthetic options allotted to five senior executives in the Group will be redeemed. This will be implemented in accordance with the redemption terms for the options and Finnveden?s regulatory procedures for insider trading.
The options were issued in autumn 2002 by D. Carnegie AB. Accordingly, redemption will not result in any dilution for existing shareholders or affect Finnveden?s earnings.
